Position: Learning Support Assistant x 2 Maternity Cover Positions

Hours: 

Position 1 – 12 hours per week Monday and Tuesday term time only, plus 5 training days, until March 2025

Position 2 – 30 hours per week term time only, plus 5 training days, until March 2025

Salary: Grade 5 Point 4 – 6 FTE £23,114 to £23,893

 12 hours Actual Salary £6,573 to £6,795

 30 hours Actual Salary £16,434 to £16,988

Location: North Ridge Community School, Tenter Balk Lane, Adwick-le-Street, Doncaster, DN6 7EF 

Contract type: Fixed Term

We are a school with 157 pupils on roll from 3 to 19 years and all of our pupils have severe learning difficulties and associated needs. We are seeking someone to join our amazing staff team who can provide a great service to our pupils, families and staff.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in a school environment and will also have:

• A commitment to working as part of an established team to deliver high quality caring and stimulating learning
• Minimum relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (or a willingness to achieve) in special needs/support work in schools
• Minimum Level 2 Mathematics & English (or a willingness to achieve)

An understanding of, or a willingness to develop, relevant Safeguarding knowledge
