Join the Nexus team as a Learning Support Assistant - North Ridge Community School

Position: Learning Support Assistants 1 X 1:1 Temporary Subject to Funding 3 X Fixed Term to 31st August 2025 

Hours: 30 Hours per week Term Time only plus 5 days 

Salary: Grade 5 Point 4 – 6 FTE £24,404 to £25,183 Actual Salary £17,351 to £21,400

We are a school with 157 pupils on roll from 3 to 19 years and all of our pupils have severe learning difficulties and associated needs. We are seeking someone to join our amazing staff team who can provide a great service to our pupils, families and staff.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in a school environment and will also have:

• Minimum relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (or a willingness to achieve) in special needs/support work in schools 

• Minimum Level 2 Mathematics & English (or a willingness to achieve) 

• An understanding of, or a willingness to develop, relevant Safeguarding knowledge
